Installing Docker On Ubuntu In WSL2

October 10, 2020

You'll need WSL2 with ubuntu 2004. Getting Terminal as per the linked page works well.

Then install Docker on the WSL Ubuntu environment but test the install differently. Instead of using sudo systemctl start docker use sudo /etc/init.d/docker start, as (of right now we do not have systemd in WSL 2.)[https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/WSL/issues/457]
